This is a Yellowish Green Primer used for G.I sheets or jobs and also for Aluminum sheets as no other primer can be applied on G.I sheets. Etch Primer has got excellent etching property and very good adhesion. After application of Etch Primer any type of Primer can be further applied for more protection and for the initial coat before Finish Coat.
Etch Primer is a paint that is designed to physically bond itself to the substrate to which it is applied. This is achieved by combining an acid with the paint so that the acid microscopically etches the surface of the substrate, thus forming a physical and chemical bond between the two.
